He was a self-employed Transport specialist with Wheeler Transport.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Wheeler; and grandmother, Alberta Curl.
Survivors include his wife, Kendra Gilpin Wheeler; mother, Linda Curl Wheeler; children, Craig Wheeler, Toni Wheeler and Dana Wheeler; brothers, Doug (Tracy) and Dennis Wheeler; grand-fur babies, Mufasa, Rocky, Gucci and Riley.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home.
