Born to the late John and Lottie Boyd, David is also preceded in death by his siblings, John Boyd and Opal Clemons. Here to carry on his memory is his adoring wife of 55 years, Nancy Boyd; son Aaron Boyd; his siblings Jo-Ann Kleinhenz (Tom) and George Boyd (Anna); and a host of nieces and nephews.
David was a member of The Koi Club and enjoyed having his own koi pond full of fish. He retired from the Courier Journal as a printer.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023, at Arch L. Heady at Westport, 7410 Westport Road, from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking expressions of sympathy be made to Hosparus of Louisville. A Celebration of Life will be held in Wilmington, NC, at a later date.
