He was predeceased by his parents, Buck and Edna Harshfield, and a sister, Bonnie Roy.
Mr. Harshfield is survived by sons, Grant and Todd Harshfield; siblings, Patsy Thompson (Tommy), Dona Bell (Randle), Charlie Harshfield, Lana Givans (Ronnie), Karen Vincent (Pete), and Hope Tucker; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
His service will be 7pm Thursday at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be from 1pm until 7pm Thursday. Interment will be in Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
