Mr. Tanaka was born April 6,1943, to the late Shizuto and Yoshiye Tanaka.
Dennis was a retired United States Postal Service employee and was also an Air Force Veteran.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 50 years, Jan Tanaka; children, Andrea Canaday (Bill) and Christopher Tanaka (Rebecca); siblings, Diana Nakagawa and Mile Tanaka; grandchildren, Tyler and Emily Canaday; two step-grandchildren, five great-step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Service to celebrate the life of Dennis will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be after 12:00 pm Sunday until the time of the service.
The family has requested that memorial donations in Dennis's name be directed to Dare to Care or the National Foundation of Ectodermal Dysplasias.
