She was preceded in death by her son Jackie, parents, a brother Jerry, a granddaughter Alexandra and sister-in-law Sandra McSeveney.
Dixie was a graduate of Spalding University and retired from Citigroup after a 40-year career. She was a past Grand Matron of Eastern Star in Kentucky.
She is survived by daughter-in-law, Lisa; grandchildren Jacqueline (Greg), Jennifer (Wilmer), Katherine (Kenny), Spencer, and Keri; eight great grandchildren; three nephews; and one niece.
Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 30 at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy, followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm on Wednesday , October 29 at the funeral home.
