He was born March 28, 1944, in England, the son of Eugene Cosby and June Pamela (Clinch) Woodward. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Margie Cosby; two sisters, Debra Moss and Charlene Duggins.
Donnie had worked as a welder before retirement.
Survivors include his son, Kevin Cosby (Dianna); a grandson, Cameron Cosby (Brook); one great-grandson, Cooper Cosby; five sisters, Bernadette Brewer, Ann Melton, Regina Cooper, Adonna Whitworth and Heather Cabanillas.
A memorial gathering for Donnie will be held Friday, January 16, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave, Louisville, KY 40206.
