Donald Ray Haney

Don was a senior buyer for C&I Engineering for the last 29 years. He had a love of sports from coaching and playing that has been a big part of his life. Everything from baseball, to basketball and bowling. He was a man who loved to grill out and listen to Blues and Rock 'n Roll, along with going to bet on the horses at Churchill Downs. He had a great sense of humor and was loved by all who knew him.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, Lola Hatchell and Donald Haney Sr.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 37 years, Michelle Rubarts Haney; his son Jason (Beth); his grandchildren, Abby, Justice, Asher and Jaylee; along with his sister, Linda and her husband Ted; brothers, Art and Danny; brothers-in-law, Keith and Don; and sisters-in-law, Carol, Lisa, and Donna; and several nieces and nephews.

A Life Celebration will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019, at 12 noon at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Hwy, Lou, KY 40213. Visitation will be on Friday from 10a to service time. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
