Donna Rice

Donna Rice, 58, entered into eternal rest on April 8, 2026. Donna was beloved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Donna worked as an administrator, a role that reflected her dependable nature and her commitment to doing things well.

Outside of work, Donna loved to read and write, finding comfort and joy in quiet moments with a book or on the page. She also cherished time spent shopping with her granddaughter Linde—simple outings that became lasting memories for those who shared them with her.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Wanda Shain; her sisters, Eugenia Hardin, Debbie Anderson, and Cindy Zipfel; and her brothers, Garry Arnett and Butch Shain.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Keith Rice Sr.; her sons, Jeremy Lewis and Joshua Altieri; step-son, Keith Rice Jr.; siblings, Jack McWilliams, Anthony Wooden, and Scott Shain; grandchildren, Keith Rice III, Linde, Hadley, Nolan, and Fallon; uncle, Blaine Jaggers; sister-in-law, Sandy Arnett; long-time friends, Kimberly Rose and Deb Welsh; as well as several other beloved friends and family.

Visitation will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, KY 40213, on April 17, 2026, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. The Funeral Service will follow at Evergreen Funeral Home on April 17, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. A Committal Service will take place at Evergreen Funeral Home.
