Also preceding her in passing are her grandparents Robert Merrill Heath, Alberta Lina Pease, Walter "Butch" Schraffenberger, and Thelma L Reas.
Donna's journey began in Louisville, where she cultivated a life rich in love and laughter. She was the wife of the late Joseph Richards. Donna's legacy is lovingly carried on by her devoted daughters, Michelle Peters (Anthony) and Carole Purvis (Caleb), and her adored grandchildren, Anthony Peters II, Samantha Peters, and Aeron Purvis. Her sister, Linda Carole Rudd, and niece, Linet Weston, also survive her, holding dear the memories they created together.
Professionally, Donna was a respected team lead at AMC Stonybrook 20, where her friendly demeanor and collaborative spirit made her a favorite among her colleagues. Her work was not just a job but a community where she formed lasting friendships and connections.
Donna's interests were a reflection of her gentle soul. She found joy in the beauty of nature, from the delicate dance of butterflies to the vibrant blooms of roses and the soothing melodies of windchimes. Her childhood memories were anchored by the laughter and splashes in the backyard swimming pool on Pomeroy. A lover of life's simple pleasures, she enjoyed feeding the squirrels and birds, immersing herself in movies, engaging in mobile games, and indulging in her fascination with true crime stories.
Above all, Donna cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Some of her proudest moments were witnessing her daughters' weddings and welcoming new generations into the world. Donna was the embodiment of love, a gentle presence, and a friendly soul who will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit, characterized by warmth and kindness, will continue to inspire those she has left behind.
