

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Cave City. A member of the St Matthews Baptist church, received her Masters Degree from the University of Kentucky, member of the KEA, retired from the Jefferson County Public School system after 45 years of service as a teacher and a school counselor at Southern High School.
Dora is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, H.E. Foley and their son-in-law, Dr. Kirk Morgan.
She is the youngest of ten children. Dora is survived by her children, Larry Foley (Sharon) and Sharon Morgan, a brother, Arthur Patterson, grandchildren, Steven Foley (Emily) and James D. Dunn (Lucy), great grandchildren, Logan and Scarlett Foley and Jamison Dunn. The family would like to thank the staff at Elmcroft of Mount Washington, Norton Brownsboro Hospital, nurses Andrew and Jennifer, and her family physician, Dr. Matthew Offutt, for all of their loving and attentive care.
A celebration of Dora’s life will be conducted at 10 am on Saturday, February 13, 2016 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd., with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 4-8pm on Friday, February 12, 2016 and after 9am the day of the funeral.
