She was born to the late Frank and Nettie Wilson in Hart County, Kentucky on January 15, 1933. Doreen worked at her family business, Stoney Auto Supply as a bookkeeper.
Dorenne is preceded in death by her husband, James Stone, and a daughter, Lorna Marks, her siblings, Marcella Oliver, Imogean Hall, Irvin Wilson and a nephew, Jerry Oliver.
She is survived by a grandson, Justin Marks, great grandson, JJ, granddaughter, Nicole Marks, great grandson, Jaden Marks, nephews, Larry Oliver and Duane Wilson.
A visitation will be held from 11-2:30 on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd., Louisville KY 40218. A committal service will be held at the funeral home at 2:30 the day of visitation. Interment to take place at Resthaven Memorial Park.
