She was a retired property manager and a Catholic by faith.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Hamm, Sr.
Survivors include her children, Martha Ann Defazio, Susan Letcher, Robert Defazio, Ronald Basham, and Carl Hamm; a sister, Helen Miller; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her longtime companion, Rodney Grayson.
A graveside service will be held at Cave Hill Cemetery at 1:00 pm Saturday.
