

Doris J. Ansert Willinger 82, passed away peacefully at her home on July 1, 2012 after bravely struggling with lung cancer for 2 months. She was a 36 year breast cancer survivor and was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Ansert, and her husband of 56 years, Kenneth A. Willinger, Sr.
Doris was a graduate in the 1948 class of Ursuline Academy and a lifetime member of St. Therese Church. She was employed in the insurance office of St. Anthony Hospital for 26 years. Besides being a wife, and mother, Doris enjoyed having monthly lunches with the Ursuline Girls and former St. Anthony employees. She looked forward to the KY State Fair, Churchill Downs, Saturday nights as a member of the German-American Club, her 27 year membership in the Kahelelani Hawaiian Club and attending as many Rockin Ricky concerts as possible. She was a member of the St. Monica Society, Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration and Nocturnal Adoration for 55 years.
Doris is survived by two daughters; Karen Arnold of Erlanger, KY, Kathleen (David) Kruer of Floyd Knobs, IN, and three sons; Kenneth Jr. (Patti), William (Belinda), and Robert Sr. (Joan). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; Doug (Holly), Deanne (Kenneth), Martin, Kenneth III, Susan, Kelly, Corey (Ashleigh), Katie, Robert Jr., Lisa and Kristen, and 3 great-grandchildren; Matthew, Max, and Kourtney.
A mass to Celebrate Doris's life will be held at 10:00 AM Friday at ST. Therese Church, 1010 Schiller Ave., with burial at St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Thursday at Arch L. Heady Russman & Sons, 1201 E. Oak St. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Mass of the Air, 508 Breckenridge Lane, 40207.
