She was a homemaker and a member of Parkland Baptist Church.
Dorothy is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, Jack Maple and their children, John Michael Maple (Kathy) and Marcia Meredith, a brother, Donald Ray Husband (Cheryl) She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A funeral service to celebrate Dorothy’s life will be conducted at 10am on Saturday, June 28, 2014 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd., with interment to follow at Grove Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville KY. Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 2-8pm Friday, June 27, 2014.
