January 14, 1927 to the late Raymond L. and Marie Zimmer Searcy. She was a retired Sales Clerk with the old Zayre Dept. Store, and a member of St. James Catholic Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, James E. Walker Sr., her children; Deloris M. Payne (Larry), James E. Walker Jr. (Suzie), Nancy Jean Bryan (Rick), and Richard Leo Walker (Adelaide). Her sister; Patsy Allen, and her sister in law; Deloris "Aunt Sis" Walker.
Her 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
A service to Celebrate Edith's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday by the Rev. Don Goetz in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady Russman & Sons Funeral Home, 1201 E. Oak Street. with interment at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday.
