Edward Alvin Rheaume, 78, of Louisville was born on February 3, 1940 in Bullitt County to the late Arthur Sr. and Nettie (Stottman) Rheaume, and passed from this life on April 27, 2018. Mr. Rheaume was a retired employee of General Electric where he worked for 27 years, and a longtime and active member of Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church. Left to cherish his memory is his beloved partner of 49 years, Danny R. Meeks; 5 nephews, John, Terry, Larrell, Darrell and Artie. Edward was also blessed with many friends from his church and neighborhood and the love and support of the Meeks family. A funeral mass for Edward will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 747 Harrison Avenue with interment to follow in Brookland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. from 2-8 pm on Monday and after 9 am on Tuesday at the funeral home.
