Emma Helen Parker

She was born on June 26, 1930 in Coral Ridge, Kentucky to parents, Charles Carothers & Betty Pedigo. Emma was a homemaker and of the Christian Faith, a member of the Fairdale Christian Church. She had a passion for gardening and flowers, she loved them all. Her yard was always well manicured, looking like an arboretum.

Her parents, Charles & Betty Carothers; husband, Charles W. Parker, Sr.; daughter, Sandra Jane Parker; siblings, Elzie Carothers, John Carothers, Zella, Anna Mae, Robert Carothers, Cecil Carothers & James Carothers, precede Emma in her passing.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Christina Story, Debra (John) Holton, Charlotte Rountree, Charles (Priscilla) Parker, Jr., Lisa (Chuck) Simon; 12 – grandchildren, Joe Pyle, Chris (Lisa) Pyle, Steven Dick, Christina Story, John (Katie) Holton, Jr., Brian (Jolie) Holton, Phil Rountree, Patrick (Ashley) Parker, Franchesca (Doug) Douthitt, Marie (Robbie) Estes, Lori (Arnaud Pouppeville); 35 – great – grandchildren; 4 – great – great – grandchildren; plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Entombment will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleums of the Evergreen Cemetery & Garden Mausoleums.
