

Born in Louisville, Kentucky on Wednesday, February 1982 to parents Paul Eugene Lindsey and Karen Lynn Winfield. He was a student, where he attended JCTC before transferring to Bellarmine University on the GI Bill. Eric served his nation with pride and honor in the United States Army and attended Okolona Christian Church. Eric loved to golf although his health prohibited him from doing so. He loved to play Minecraft with his kids and could make friends out of anyone.
He had no enemies; Eric had a heart of gold. He loved his family. He and Christy were together for 26 years and he was a “mommas’ boy.”
His grandparents, Kenneth M. Winfield and Sarah Nancy Graves; as well as his grandson, Phoenix Dean Hawkins, precede Eric in his passing.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Christy Lee Lindsey; his children, Navy Ann (Tyler) Hawkins, Lia (James) James Whittaker and Eric Wayne Lindsey, Jr.; his grandchildren, River Dean Hawkins and Forrest Wayne Hawkins; his parents, Karen (Larry Wayne, Jr.) Jesse and Paul Eugene ( Sherri Luckett) Lindsey; his brother, Michael Robert Lindsey; plus, a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Per his wishes, cremation was chosen.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
