Esther Marie Shultz, 77, of Louisville, KY passed away on December 24, 2020. She was born on May 21, 1943 to the late Paul Childers, Sr. and Edna Best Childers. Esther is also preceded in death by her brother, Paul Childers, Jr.
Esther enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her beloved dog, Angel.
She is survived by her two children, Donnie Shultz (Terri) and Michelle Smail (Glen); grandchildren, Tricia Tinnell, Katelyn Evans (Adam), Hailey Galbreath and Abi Galbreath; sisters, Gladys Wesley, Leona Burns (Don) and Bonnie Bayse (Don).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2021 from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven (4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218). A service to honor the life of Esther will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
