Eugene “Gene” Voll, of Louisville passed away November 10, 2010. He was born September 2, 1929 to the late Fred and Emma Wagner Voll. He was a United States Air Force veteran during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of St. Andrew United Church of Christ and was owner of Voll’s Home Maintanace.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son, Pastor Gene “Bubby” Voll; two sisters and three brothers.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Kays Voll; three children, Debbie (Beanie) Clover, Melody (Gus) Wade, and Jennifer (Dan) Kosek ; brothers Rev. Clifford Voll, Rev. Donald Voll and Rev. Jerry Voll; seven grand children; three great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and numerous loving friends.
A celebration of Gene’s life will be conducted Monday, November 15, 2010, at 12:00 at St. Andrew United Church of Christ, 2608 Browns Lane with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm on Saturday and 2-8 pm Sunday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Gene will lie in state at church from 11 am until service time on Monday.
