

He was born September 25, 1942 in Louisville, KY, the son of William Horace and Mary Elizabeth (Fleming) Lanham. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Janice Lanham Niehaus.
Frank was raised in Clarksville, IN and was a graduate of Providence High School and also Indiana University, where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon. He owned and operated Superior Carpet Cleaning and Sears Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning businesses for many years. He enjoyed playing golf, traveling, car racing, country music, sunshine and the beach. Frank was a family man, and loved spending time with his grandkids.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Marie (Gutenkunst) Lanham; daughter, Jill Suzanne Lanham Estep (Michael); son, Patrick Alan Lanham (Darcy); four grandchildren, Amelia Jane and Sean Patrick Lanham and Jack Matthew and Jay Peyton Estep; sister, Barbara Faulkner Bratcher; sister-in-law, Sharon Branham (Mel) and many nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate Frank’s life will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 8, 2016 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. Interment will follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery, Jeffersonville, IN. Visitation will be held from 2-5 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
