She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Herbert Hampton; second husband, soulmate and love of her life, Earl Mason; brothers, Samuel “Sammy” Richard Horton, Charles Edwin Horton; sister, Betty Wallace; and nephew, Kenton Horton.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Charles “Chucky” Horton, Carolyn Wilson, Tommy Denham, Vicki Horton-Wimpee, Rich Horton and Todd Horton; several great nieces and great nephews; and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 12 pm on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Hwy, with interment following at Louisville Memorial Gardens West, 4400 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home on Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 10:30 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
