Born in Louisville, Kentucky on Thursday, November 30, 1950. Gary was the son of the lates’ Howard Dee Humphrey and Katie Bell Blackwell. He was a retired Floodwall Supervisor for MSD. He loved working on old, classic cars and going to the Rod Runs but most of all, he loved spending time with his family and working in his yard.
He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
His parents, Howard Dee and Katie Bell Blackwell Humphrey precede Gary in his passing.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Aaron Michael (Mariel) Humphrey and Brittany Nicole (Mike) Booth; his sister, Camie H. Watson; his brother, Terry L. Humphrey; 2 nephews; plus, a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Cremation was chosen.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 10, 2025 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. in the Party Room of Mike Linnig's Restaurant.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be directed to St. Jude or Hosparus.
