Hoffman, George F., 89, of Louisville, entered into eternal rest on April 28, 2015. He was born on March 29, 1926 to George and Kathryn Hoffman. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and retired from Campbell Tobacco Company.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 64 years, Mary Lou; children, Carol Hoffman, Linda Wilson, Richard Hoffman and George Hoffman Jr. (Charlene); four granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Collins; and nieces and nephews
His warm smile and sparkling blue eyes will be greatly missed by his loved ones. The stories he shared with his children and grandchildren will be cherished forever.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday at 9am at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 8 at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in memory of George can be made to Hosparus or charity of choice.
