George was an Army and Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his children, DeSean Andrew Moore and Margaret Monet Moore; sisters, Brenda Walters, Kathy Stewart, Dottie Ellis and Yvette Williams. George is also survived by two grandchildren; a devoted friend, Euline Evans; and a host of other family members and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday at noon until the time of the service.
