Mr. Wilkerson was born January 5, 1951, to the late George Wilkerson Sr. and Bettie Taylor Wilkerson.
He was a retired employee of Reynolds Metal Company and an Army Veteran.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 47 years, Barbara Wilkerson; children, Aaron and Amy Wilkerson and his brother Steve Wilkerson.
Funeral Services will be held 1:30 pm Monday, October 17th, at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Kentucky with entombment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 10:30 am Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
The family would like to request that memorial donations in George's name be directed to the American Heart Association.
