She was a member of Louisville Baptist Temple and Order of the Eastern Star, and she volunteered with numerous Louisville organizations.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Willis.
Survivors include her husband Richard “Mac” McDaniel; a son, Rick Willis (Janet); a daughter, Pamela Zinsmeister (Fred); sisters, Joyce Caswell (John), Claudette Casey, Teresa Solomon (Bill), Tressa Wright (Ronnie), and Denise Sexton; a brother, Hughie Simmons, Jr. (Erica); 4 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 Tuesday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, followed by entombment at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Monday.
