Gloria was a long time member of L&N Golf Club in Brooks, KY and VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Naples, FL.
Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Carrie Beisler; and son, Vincent Stephen Newton.
Gloria is survived by her husband of 66 years, Arthur "Bud" Newton; children, David Newton (Donna), William Newton, Karen Newton (Michael), Denise Crowder (Ronnie), Susan Collins (P/Nut), Doug Newton (Robin), and Kim VanMeter (Joe); 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; siblings, Barbara Morrow (Dallas), Mark Beisler (Ellen) and Paula Burns; and daughter-in-law, Karen L. Newton.
Funeral service will be 2pm on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Evergreen Funeral Home, with entombment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3-8pm on Monday at the funeral Home.
