Gwen loved animals, going to the beach and cooking for her family. She loved working at Clark and BP gas station in Bullitt County for 15 years. She attended Southern High School and was Catholic by faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Barbara Krebs, a child Samantha Rae and siblings, Annie Krebs and Chris Krebs.
Gwen is survived by her husband of 36 years, Anthony "Tony" Fischer; daughter, Randele Bryant (Billy); siblings, Frankie Buckman (Jim) and brother, David Krebs. She also leaves behind her four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Gwen is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Memorial Mass will be held 10am, Friday, April 17, 2026 at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 747 Harrison Ave. Louisville, KY. A Bereavement Gathering will be held in the school Cafeteria following the service.
