Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Lillian Smith and siblings, Geneva and Roy Cecil Smith.
Smitty was an avid trap and skeet shooter and was an inductee to the Kentucky and Indiana Shooting Halls of Fame. He was also a long time employee with Louisville Gas and Electric.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 64 years, Genevie Smith and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, 2:00 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2:00 until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
