Helen Jacqueline Alexander, 82, of Louisville passed away January 11, 2013 at Green Meadows Health Care. She was born on January 3, 1931 in Louisville to the late Gustave and Alberta Brewer Adams. She was a retired bookkeeper and was a present member of Southeast Christian Church and former member of Okolona Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd William Alexander; and a sister, Dolores Tierney.
She is survived by her loving children, Steven V. Alexander (Cindy), Alex Alexander, and Richard E. Alexander (Sherry); grandchildren, Mark (Beth) Alexander, Shauna Alexander, Steve Alexander (Ashlee), Shilo Kibbey and Barry Williams; and great-grandchildren Adrianna and Katie Alexander and Royce Kibbey.
A celebration of her life will be conducted at 12pm on Saturday January 19, 2013 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with private burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday from 2-8 and Saturday from 10-12 at the funeral home.
