She was born July 26, 1921 in Louisville, the daughter of Lawrence and Louise Popham.
Helen was the Director of Personnel at Baptist Hospitals for many years, as well as being a member of Westport Road Baptist Church.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Roy F. Bailey; and her nephew and caretaker Tony Lanham; nephew, Rick Bailey; niece, Molly Hockenbury; and her sister-in-law, Lotte Bailey.
A service to celebrate Helen’s life will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. Private entombment will follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 3-6 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home
