

He was born on May 6, 1926 in Knox County, KY, to the late William Anthony Stewart and Nan Garrison Stewart.
He retired from General Electric Appliance Park after more than 30 years of service. In his spare time he loved working on cars and was a great mechanic. He also had a passion for woodworking. Edd was a member of Parkland Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wives, Dorothy Anders Stewart and Retha Bunch Stewart, and five sisters and three brothers.
He is survived by his daughter, Nancye Stewart, many nieces and nephews, and his loyal Scottish Terrier companions, Cody, Hollye and Rocky.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 12 pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, with an interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 4-8 pm at the funeral home and Friday from 10 am until time of service.
