Henry E. "Sonny", of Germantown, 74, returned to his heavenly Father on Wednesday, February 06, 2013 while at Klondike Manor.
He was born on July 08, 1938 in Owensboro, KY to the late Everett and Dorothy Bagett Thornton. Sonny retired after many years from Boise Cascade. He was a member of the VFW Post 108, and Sonny served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict.
Left to carry on his memory are his son, Anthony "Tony" Thornton (Melissa); granddaughter, Jennifer Thornton; brothers, Philip and Joseph Thornton; his sister, Sharon Collins; and many more loving family and friends.
A service honoring Sonny's life will be 10 a.m. Monday at Arch L. Heady Russman and Sons, 1201 East Oak Street. Burial will take place at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff. Visitaton will be 3-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
