He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years; Alma Crum. Howard is also survived by his children; Ricky Crum, Michael Crum, Barry Gernert and Patrick McNeil Gernert. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service of Remembrance will be celebrated 12 noon Saturday August 6, 2011 at the Chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Road with visitation starting after 11 a.m. the day of the service. Inurnment will take place following the service at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.
