Jack Bennett Reesor, 72, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on May 5, 2026. Born December 1, 1953, Jack will be remembered with deep respect for a life marked by steady devotion, quiet thoughtfulness, and a selfless way of showing up for others.
Jack was a graduate of Fairdale High School, carrying forward the values of diligence and responsibility that shaped the way he lived and worked.
He retired from Philip Morris, where his strong work ethic and commitment to those around him were evident not only in his daily efforts, but also in his service as a Union Steward—an extension of his care for fairness and for people.
Above all, Jack was a loving family man. He is survived by his forever wife, Beverly Jean Reesor; his daughter, Stacy Michelle Jackson (Paul); his grandchildren, Haley Sims, Jacob Meuschke, and Trenton Meuschke; his brother, Bill Reesor; and his sister, Linda Lewis.
Jack was preceded in death by his father, William Frank Reesor, Jr, and his mother, Patricia Louise Reesor.
To know Jack was to know someone who never met a stranger—someone who offered warmth and consideration in everyday moments, and who made others feel seen through simple, genuine kindness.
Jack also found joy in the pastimes that brought people together. He was an avid golf enthusiast, enjoyed bowling, and was a passionate UK fan—interests that reflected both his steady spirit and his appreciation for shared time with others.
