Jackie Friend, 76, of Louisville passed away June 9, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 5, 1938 in Louisville to the late Sam and Alma Cox Osborne. She was a member of the South Louisville Christian Church.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Clarence “Skip” Friend.
She is survived by her children, Rusty Friend (Terry), Jenny Weber (Pat), and Jim Friend; grandchildren, Taylor Siegrist (Bailey) and Bailey Weber; a brother, Danny Osborne; Aunt, Ruth Osborne; many nieces and nephews and dear friends, Sally and Paul Joiner. Jackie is also survived by her many friends in Louisville and Bradenton, Florida.
A service celebrating her life will be conducted Friday, June 12, 2015 at Noon at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10-12 on Friday at the funeral home.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
