She was a volunteer for J-Town Senior Citizens Center, a supporter of duPont Manual, a longtime member of Woodhaven Country Club and a member of the Red Hat Society.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Hecker.
Jacqueline is survived by her partner, Paul Ferguson, her children, Charlotte “Bunny” Nelson (Lee), Carol Hecker Davies, Cynthia Murphy (Bob) and Connie Whitlock (Ted), grandchildren, Drew Nelson, Blake Nelson and Brittany Murphy. She is also survived by her loyal and good friend, Carlie Sue and nine grand-dogs.
A funeral service to celebrate Jacqueline’s life will be conducted at 10 am on Friday, July 18, 2014 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd, Louisville KY 40222 with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 4-8 pm, Thursday, July 17, 2014 at the funeral home.
