James Timothy Cross

James Timothy “Timmy” Cross, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024. Timmy was born in Louisville on October 26, 1969 to Roger Cross,Sr. and Paula Reed. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Elizabeth Privett and Edward Cross; uncle, John Privett; and step-sister, Melanie Whitfield.

He is survived by his daughter, Jamie Renee Cross Barmore (Jerry); parents, Paula Ann and Dwayne Reed and Roger Dale, Sr. and Theresa Cross; grandchildren, Aaron Manion, Jr. and Arianna Maggard; brothers, Roger Dale, Jr. and Michael Damon Cross; aunts and uncles, Linda Embry, Wanda Minor, Linda and Randy Fritts, Donna and Johnny McCarty and Wanda and Buddy Ahl; friends, Jason Mattingly, Don Wright and his wife and Tommy Lansberg; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Timmy was loved by many besides his family. He loved to work on cars, painting, and his true friend Little was always by his side, he loved his little dog. The last thing he told me and I’ll always keep in heart. “Mom, I love you and Jamie so much, you two are my everything- You and Jamie are my one and only. Take care of Jamie for me.”

Celebration of Life will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home at 3 pm on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 11 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
