JAMES EDWARD NIX, 65, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2010 at his home. He was a member of the Kentucky Army National Guard and a retired employee for the old International Harvester/Navistar Co. with 29+ years of service, and the Cissell Co. with over 10 years of service.
He is survived by his sons, Michael Shane Nix and Mitchell Shawne Nix (Andrea); his grandchildren, Laura Ann Marie Nix and Mason Jared Nix; his brothers and sisters, Dolores Ruhs (Don), Robert Nix (Joyce), Alfred Nix (Sharon), Eugene Nix, Joseph Nix (Julia), Sharon Kemp and Diane Carpenter (Don).
Funeral service 12:00 p.m. Monday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road with private burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
