J.R. was a former jockey, avid golfer, and important member of the Vinson Family. He was a loving father, brother, grandpa, uncle, and friend.
Survivors include his three sons Scott Overmyer, James Lee Vinson , Jeffery Vinson; daughter Cindy Ragusa (Anthony); grandsons include Jason and Joe Overmyer, Ryan Ragusa; three great-granddaughters; sisters Mildred Oakes and Sarah Dunbar; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life for J.R. will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Okolona. Visitation Sunday 12noon-2:00 P.M.
