He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Marie Jenkins; daughter, Deborah Bodle; and parents, Jack and Ida Mae Jenkins.
Left to cherish his memory is his step-daughter, Jean Burgess; children, Darlene Toohey (Rickey), Delores Perryman, Darryl Jenkins (Cheryl), Doris Ann Dewitt and James Devine Jenkins (Gina); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and siblings, Betty, Dot, Elizabeth and Jack.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 11 am at Evergreen Funeral Home with interment to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 pm-8 pm at the funeral home.
