Jeanette Doris Thompson, 88, died Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Norton Audubon Hospital. She was born November 2, 1927 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Charles A. and Frances P. (Haering) Wolf. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Almo Thompson, brothers, Robert and Stanley Wolf, and daughter-in-law, Linda Thompson. She worked for 47 years at Delmonico and spent her time with her family and keeping her boys together.
She is survived by her sons, Tom Thompson (Donna), Larry Thompson, Charlie Thompson (Melody), and Steve Thompson; sisters, Florence Roth and Marie Roederer; grandchildren, Steven Holstein, Angela Walsh, Stella Mills, Mark Thompson, Christy Sprouse, Misty Jergen, Tiffany Compton, Steven Thompson Jr., and Michael Thompson; and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday at Arch L. Heady and Son Southern Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Louisville, Kentucky 40215. Her Funeral Liturgy will be 12:00 pm Wednesday at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 770 Eastern Parkway, Louisville, Kentucky 40217 with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
