Jeffrey Robert Doll

Born on November 24, 1961, Jeff was known as a collector of stories and friends, a testament to his warm and engaging personality.

Jeff graduated from the University of Louisville, a place where he began to shape his future. He was a distinguished small business owner, known across the country for marketing and selling novelties at major events including Super Bowls, Sugar Bowls, Indy 500s, Kentucky Derby’s, and numerous music and art festivals. His entrepreneurial spirit was matched by his generosity and his belief that the world and all its creatures were his congregation. He was a friend to all and always ready to lend a helping hand.

A true music connoisseur, Jeff's tastes ranged from classical giants like Beethoven to contemporary artists like Billy Strings. He attended thousands of concerts, celebrating acts like The Who, The Rolling Stones, and The Grateful Dead. Travel was another of Jeff's passions, with the Gulf Coast being his preferred retreat during the winter months. In spring and summer, he cherished spending time close to his family in Louisville and always cheering for the Cardinals.

Jeff is survived by his mother, Doris M. Doll; his brother, James A. Doll, Jr. (Deanna); his sister, Julie Doll Stewart (Robert); his nephews Kris Doll, Justin Doll, Travis Doll, Nick Stewart (Brittany), and Alex Stewart, and his great nephew and niece, Wells and Greer Stewart, who brought him much joy! He was preceded in death by his father, James A. Doll, Sr.

Jeff's life was one of vibrant engagement with the world and the people around him, leaving a legacy of joy and community. He will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Visitation will occur at Arch L. Heady and Son Westport, 7410 Westport Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40222, on Thursday, July 17th from 4PM - 7PM. A Celebration of Jeffrey's Life will take place in the chapel of Arch L. Heady and Son Westport on Friday, July 18th at 10AM. Jeffrey will be laid to rest in St. Michael Cemetery following the services.
