He was born in Louisville, on July 7, 1945 to the late Warden and Ann Franklin Hendrix. Jerry was a member of the Moose Lodge # 5 and Oakdale Baptist Church. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Gary Hendrix; sister, Barbara Cosby and his wife, Mayme McClure Hendrix.
Here to carry on his memory are his daughter, Monica Weatherholt (Leroy); granddaughter, Savannah Weatherholt Gay (Jordon); sisters, Jeanette Brinley (Bob) and Connie Aikin (Ronnie); along with many other family and friends who will miss him very much.
Visitation will take place on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 2-8 p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A service to celebrate the life of Jerry will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
