Joan Katherine Turner, 67, of South Louisville passed away on Thursday July 1, 2021. She was born in Indianapolis, IN on September 28, 1953 to the late Granville and Nettie (Blevins) Stevens. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Joseph L. Turner, Jr.; sisters; Joy Hartung and Judy Cummings; grandchildren, Joseph L. Turner, III, and Haley Turner; nephews, Donald Livesay and Brian Hartung; nieces, Jenny Bannister, Julie Jackson, Johnetta Brown, Janet Esparza and Jennifer Hartung; aunt of Julie and Ron Jackson, Johnette and Keith Brown, Janet and Marc Esparza; great aunt of Anthony Jackson, Courtney Esparza, Keith Brown, Jr., Samuel Brown; and several nieces and nephews in the Turner and Sego families. Cremation of the remains was chosen. A memorial visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Thursday July 8, 2021 at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd.
