Born on December 17, 1969, in Louisville, Jody's life was a testament to the strength and kindness he carried within him, even as he faced the challenges of multiple sclerosis with unwavering courage.
Jody was predeceased by his beloved wife, Cecilia McMahon; his father, Edmond McMahon; and his cherished grandparents, Jannett and John Gnagie. He is survived by his devoted mother, Betty McMahon; his caring sister, Gina Hardin; and a host of relatives and friends who were blessed to know him.
Those who knew Jody will remember him for his love of the outdoors. Whether it was a peaceful walk in the park or an adventurous hike through the woods, he found joy and solace in nature. Jody was also an avid fan of old westerns, often recounting his favorite scenes with a gleam in his eye and a passion in his voice.
Jody's legacy is one of love and kindness. He approached life with a creative spirit, finding beauty and possibility in the everyday. His warm presence and generous heart left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of crossing his path.

A visitation for Jody will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM.
