John D. “Uncle Chuck” Rayburn, 59, of South Louisville passed away Wednesday June 2, 2010 at Norton Hospital Hospice Unit. He was a retired employee of the Jefferson County Public Schools and a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. He was preceded in death by a brother, Teddy Rayburn. He is survived by his wife Violet “Blue” Rayburn; his son, Jason Rayburn; sisters, Guinalda Rayburn Myers, Jeanne and Mary Rayburn; brothers, Norman, Bob, William & Roger Rayburn. Cremation was chosen. A memorial service to celebrate John’s life will be held at 10 am Saturday, June 26, 2010 at the O. D.
