He was born December 1947 to the late Catherine Elizabeth Quire and John Melton Walker, Sr.
John loved life. He never met a stranger. He loved to fish on the Walker Family Farm. He like to ride his motorcycle with his brothers, Albert, Carl and Louie. He was a UK Fan, and enjoyed playing cards in the garage.He also retired from Warren Electric after 23 years of service.
John was greeted at the gates of heaven by his parents, sister Debbie Stoess, brothers, Louis Walker and Carl Walker.
Here to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Sharon D. (Moss) Walker of 30 years. He was the love of her life. Daughter, Tana Walker (Mike), grandson, Dylan Davidson, step-sons, Roger Moss and Elzie "Lee" Moss, siblings; Albert "Alvie" Walker (Linda), sisters, Catherine "Kacky" Wright and Beverly Grass (Robert).
Visitation will take place at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218 from 3-8PM on Tuesday, December 26, 2023.
Funeral service will occur on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 10AM in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home.
