JoNell Aaron Johnson, 90, of Crescent Hill, died peacefully on October 18th, surrounded by her loving family. She was retired from Taylor Drug Store, volunteered for many organizations, and was a member of Clifton Christian Church. She always loved Christmas and made it very special for her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James T. Johnson, who was an Elder at Clifton Christian.
She is survived by her son Michael Wayne Johnson (Kathie), daughter Jamie Johnson Lott (Bill). Her grandchildren : Megan Lott, Wesley Johnson, Dr. Amanda Jo Marcellino (Eddie), and her brother, Robert Aaron of Russell Springs, KY. To all of our Russell Springs family, please know how much she loved you.
The family would like to thank the staff of Jefferson Manor for all the loving care they gave her these past nine months.
A celebration of JoNell’s life will be held at 10 am Wednesday in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle , 2428 Frankfort Ave., with interment at Cave Hill. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Tuesday.
